Brilliant Pencil Sharpener at Lidl

Thanks to Matthias Meckel for pointing out on his stationery blog, Bleistift, the United Office desktop sharpener Lidl UK are currently selling. As with all Lidl special purchases – once its gone, it’s gone. A quick review:

It has rubber pencil grips that leave no marks; makes a lovely point (two grades of sharpening via CW or CCW winding of the handle); the action of the handle is robust and smooth; and the rubber desk vice is strong. In fact, the build quality of the whole unit is great. It comes in blue or black and it only costs £3.49.

I got three. One for my home office; one for my work office; and one for a friend.
